Marija

Marija is a collaboration with typographer Adrian Gauci as part of the Milkshake project.

The final work, a 1.5m x 3m keyhole, was presented on the walls of the gallery (Spazju Kreattiv). The text references narratives of the ‘Annunciation’ using the keyhole as an imposing invitation to peep into a future happening. The keyhole is at once a symbolic womb and an invitation to peep in on the mystery of virgin conception as it unravels.
